What Causes Brown Discharge From Vagina In 6 Weeks Pregnant?
hi...i am 6 weeks pregnant i started having brown discharge fromy esterday on and checked with my doctor. She did the vaginal ultrasound and my baby is fine. She have advised me to take susten 200and have asked me to take complete bed rest for a week. Will my bleeding stop and why does this spoting happen?
The brown discharge so early in pregnancy may be due to threatened abortion. A condition where the baby is alive but may abort due to many causes. Susten helps in preventing this if the cause of abortion is low progesterone hormone. It provides this hormone and prevents abortion. So take it. Also discuss the use of HCG injections with your doctor until 10 weeks of pregnancy. Bed rest is also beneficial.
Other reasons may be cervical conditions like polyp or a cervical erosion. These can be diagnosed by a per speculum examination of the cervix. If the symptoms persist, get a vaginal inspection by your doctor to rule out these causes. Hope this satisfies your query. Thanks for using HCM. Feel free to ask any more questions that you may have.
