What Causes Bruise And Pain In Back After An Injury?

Hi I m 27 yr old female I was physically attacked 3 days ago and thrown into a wall and I hit my back, it bruised but didn t hurt for 2 days now today its excruciating it hurts to move, sit and stand. I don t know if I should see a doctor or if it will get better on its own. Also why did it take 3 days to start hurting?

In some cases of muscle or bony injury the maximum pain is felt days after the initial injury.

The level of pain increases slowly over a period of days till it reaches the highest level.

Using anti inflammatory pain killers such as naproxen, diclofenac or ibuprofen may help but if the pain is severe, it may be best to see your doctor for a review.
