What Causes Bruise On Lower Leg And Ankle Along With Severe Pain?
I was riding a motor bike and fell sideways where my left leg caught the bike. Immediately I had a huge lump and now a week later l have a massive bruise covering the entire lower part of my leg and ankle. I m able to walk and put pressure on it but it is obviously still painful, especially if touched-should I be worried?

It could be traumatic swelling or blister following fell down from bike and your leg got injured.
you can wash the wound with sterile water and savlon or dettol or any other antiseptic solution to clean the wound removing all the dirt.
After the washing and cleaning you can apply antiseptic cream over it and you can take over the counter pain killer with serratiopeptodase to reduce the swelling.
Apply dressing with bandage and take injection tetanus toxoid IM 1 ampoule from some local doctor.If wound is larger then you might also require oral short course antibiotics but for that you will need prescription from the doctor.
You can also consult surgeon if wound is much large and painful.
It will get healed within 4 to 5 days so n need to be worried.
