What Causes Bruised Eardrum With Yellow Discharge?
I went to urgent care and was told i have a bruised eardrum. The Dr said to wait 3 weeks and if its not better to go to an ENT. There is a clear, yellow discharge coming out more frequently than before. And I feel like the hearing in that ear is off more than before. It feels like I m underwater I assume this is normal, right? Is there something I can do ?

Hi, thanks for your query. Bruised ear drum with yellow discharge suggests ear infection. If I were your treating doctor, I would have prescribed penicillin antibiotics + anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs twice daily for 3 to 5 days.
