What Causes Bruises On The Legs And Dull Pain With Positive ANA?
I tested positive for ana. However I went to a rhumatoligist and she said I didn t have any inflamed joints. What I understood is that I didn t have lupus Lately Ive had bruises on my legs every week. My pcp ran test and she said that my blood work came back normal. Are the bruises on my legs a sign that I m having a flare up? Occassionally I ll having a dull pain in my hands and legs.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having vasculitis rash.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral steroid, colchicine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
