What Causes Bulging Of Eye With No Pain And Vision Difficulties?

I have noticed what seems like a slight bulging of my right eye. First only noticable in photos, now when I look in the mirror, I can see the white of my eye above the iris. My left eye looks normal or smaller in comparison. Looking back in photos it seems that the same issue may go back for many months, approx 1 yr after the birth of my son. I do not have any pain or vision difficulties. Any ideas what might be causing this, do I start with my PCP or an eye specialist? Many thanks for your time and advice.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Thyroid function test be done and thyroid related proptosis be ruled out. Ocular muscle function be recorded. IOT should be recorded. If any thing is related this swelling, can be treated. It can be pseudo proptosis. So after observing for 6month swelling can be con firmed. If progressive then ophthal mologist can be consulted.
