What Causes Bump And Swelling In Tragus After Tragus And Rook Piercing?

hi, I recently got my tragus and rook pierced. My tragus does not hurt but it is swollen and there is a bump as well as something that looks like puss, it is white liquid but only a little it of it came out. I got my tragus pierced a month ago. As for my Rook piercing, I got it less than a week ago and it is extremely sore. I have to go back to my piercer but I am really concerned.

Hello,
Thanks for writing here.

Body piercings always carry a risk for infections.Keep area dry.Clean it with antiseptics.Use ice packs over affected area so that pain will be reduced. You need to take oral antiboitics and pain killers like sporidex and cpmbiflam. But it will be better to consult a doctor.Hope this will help you.Take care.
