Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Bumps On Upper Chest, Arm And Instep Of The Foot?
What is it when your body swell of huge lumps, on the upper chest side area, upper arm ,top of feet. My PCP says he doesn t know what s happening. My mother in law suggest I see an infectious Disease Doctor. I just want to know what s happening to me. Can you give me a path I should look?
Lumps or bumps in the chest area, upper arm and feet are commonly indicative of lipoma. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP to detect any lumps around the chest (breast), in the arms and the feet to detect any lipoma, ganglio or hard mass, etc. You may have to get blood tests, imaging tests and biopsy done to rule out any serious tumors or developing cancer. Your treatment will depend on the clinical symptoms & the pathology detected.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
