Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi For the last couple of days I have had a dozen or so patches appear on my arm which look like burn marks. They aren t itchy or irritable at all. The only thing I can think that may have caused this is I was cutting down my fig tree on Monday and wonder if this would have caused this. They are on my right arm and I am right-handed. What are your thoughts? I m really sorry to have troubled you, I didn t realise I had to pay. Thanks anyway.
The symptoms seem to be related to contact dermatitis. I recommend to use an antihistamine such as Cetirizine 10 mg to relieve the symptoms. I also recommend to use a steroid cream for local application such as Betamethasone cream. Cool shower can also help in relieving the symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
