Hello dear user!
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns!
Thank you for sharing them on healthcaremagic.
That are classical symptoms of
GERD. Even though it is know as
heartburn, there is nothing to do with the heart. Burning in the chest, pain, difficulty of swallowing, difficulty of breathing (sometimes), are typical for this condition. There are some rare cases when it may give serious damages to the lungs due to acid passing to the airways. It may give also changes to the
esophagus mucosa worsening the symptoms even more.
You must see you family doctor to take antiacid drugs, to treat that condition.
Meanwhile you can take some measures to avoid reflux:
-Raise your head when you are in bed
-Eat in small portions and not very late or before bedtime.
-Avoid spicy foods, chocolate, tea, coffee, cola, alcohol,
smoking etc.
Please kindly rate it as helpful and write a short review about your experience with me! I would appreciate that a lot.
Thank you and best regards!
DR ERIOL.
