What Causes Burning Sensation In Left Triceps And Pain In Upper Arm?

About 4.5 hours ago I noticed a burning/pinching pain in my left tricep. I had no previous injury in this area. It is not a result of working out or anything along those lines. I find it very odd and a bit troubling. The pain is most intense in the center of my upper arm but stretches from the elbow to the armpit. It is less painful the further it gets from the center. It is a dull burn when not being touched and a pinching burn to the touch. Please advise. I am a 28 year old male.

Hello and welcome.

Possible nerve entrapment due to muscular build up or injury. I would recommend a physical examination by an orthopedic doctor and in the mean time please avoid strenuous physical exertion of the given arm.
