What Causes Burning Sensation In Legs While Having Thoracic Disc Herniation?
I have a t11 t12 disc hernation compressing the nerve and I have burning down both legs. ive gone through physical therapy 2 times in 19 months. one of them regular therapy second water therapy and now my neurosurgeon says he doesn t want to do the surgery because he does not think the surgery would help and it is a complicated surgery. ive also had 3 injections and no relief. what should I do next because im in a lot of pain and the pain mgt that I go to does not prescribe pain medicine and all the other meds that ive been on gives me no relief.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Tingling sensation experienced in legs is probably due to disc herniation at the level of T11-T12. The pain caused by disc herniation can be controlled by pain killers and physiotherapy. Depending on the degree of disc herniation, different measures are available to treat the disc herniation. Initial herniation is managed by rest and painkillers. Levels T11-T12 are difficult to operate safely, however, complication can be managed by appropriate measures, You may consult your doctor for conservative measues to provide relief to the painful area.
