What Causes Burning Sensation In Penis After Unprotected Oral Sex?
Dear Doctor, I live in India and 10 days back i revived an unprotected oral sex from a man. But from next day i have a burning sensation inside my penis. Now it increased and i have lower abdominal pain and bladder irritation. I feel frequent urge to urinate and some times has back pain also. By the time I typing my symptoms little bit decreased. I live with my family and always regretting what i done and never do in future. Didn t done sex with wife after that, because of the doubt that if i have any STD. I don t have any discharge from penis and penis tip looks normal. I tested for UTI with self testing strips many times and and its all looks normal. I am having plenty of water right now, and symptoms bit relieved. Please advice me for this situation. Do i need to consult doctor for an STD test? Thank you for your time and kindness. Jay

Unprotected sex with a stranger can cause STD. The burning sensation and other symptoms you mentioned are commonly seen in early Herpes infection or a urinary tract infection, so I would advise you to get the herpes test done and a complete urine examination test done (since home tests are not always accurate).
It’s a good decision on your part for not engaging in intercourse with your wife as there could be a risk of transfer, it is better to be sure of this for her safety. Stay hydrated and get your tests done, so the cause could be determined and treated.
