Though the finasteride and terazosin would help with the BPH , you may need medication to specifically treat the burning pain with may be related to the nerves in the area.
Neuralgia is the name given to nerve related pain.
There are medications that can be used to treat this condition eg gabapentin, tegretol, lyrica, amitriptyline, nortriptyline
These meds were initially used for seizures or depression but can be used for nerve related pain in persons with no depression or seizures.
