What Causes Burning Sensation In The Upper Back, face And Arm?
It is almost two months that I have burning skin mostley my upper back and now speared to my arms and face . I feel some thing running under my skin and my sculpe. while and brown little particles comes out of my skin. I had bed bugs in my place but place had been spryed already .This is very uncomfortable please give me some advice. Thanks
The burning over upper back, face and arm with history of bugs at the home place may be part of residual effects of viral infection involving particular layers of epidermis, development of antibodies against the same causing systemic inflammatory response or others via cytokine release. A detailed physical examination with necessary lab tests will be helpful. Though primary care with: - Sitz bath with lukewarm water added lavender oil - Beta blockers as propranolol if not contraindicated - Anxiolytic as alprazolam - Antihistamine as per the need - Local application of calamine lotion - Avoidance of direct or excess sun exposure - Avoidance of smoking or spirit alcohol (if consuming)
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
