What Causes Burning Sensation In The Vagina While On Doxycycline?

i ve been taking 100mg of Doxycycline SID for about two weeks to treat rosacea. the last few days, i ve started having vaginal burning and some anal itching. i m also itching some on my hips and torso. i m guessing this is an allergic reaction to the doxy. I ve got a call into my derm doc but any suggestions in the meantime? benadryl?

Hi, I think you can take some antihistaminics like cetrizine or avil to relieve the itching. But if itching persists, get yourself evaluated by a gynecologist.
