What Causes Burning Sensation In Upper Stomach, Headache And Abdominal Bloating?
I looking to see what I have, I have burning sensation in my upper stomach. Had diarrhea a few times a day for 2 weeks, slight headche on and off, little bloated in my stomach too, I had stool samples done and no bacteria so the doctor put me on metronidazle. the doctor is on vacation now and i have been on the meds days and i still have achy stomach. He said it can be colitas, does that sound possible. I am with a new doctor in a new state

Welcome to HCM, As per your query , you might have colitis/ gastritis as told by your doctor. Abdominal discomfort is very common symptom in that. If u are taking metronidazole without any relief, You should visit the doctor again. If he is not available visit some other doctor. In mean while you should continue metronidazole and take omeprazole empty stomach in morning
