What Causes Burning Sensation On Right Side Of Face And Tingling Sensation On Tongue?

Hi, I have been experiencing this burning sensation on the right side of my face, I get pins and needles everywhere. I also get this tingly sensation on my tongue. However, it seems that when I when am calm I do not get this tingly feeling on my tongue...I am 21 years old and I am always anxious but not sure if this is associated with my anxiety.

Hi.

Anxiety itself could be a cause for such a presentation, but I there are numerous other causes as well like diabetic neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, nerve entrapment, trauma to the cervical nerve, hot burn, chemical burn, etc. Please visit a doctor as anxiety is the most harmless cause out if the lot and your anxiety can mask a number of conditions which is why we need to investigate elaborately.
