What Causes Buttock Pain While Coughing?

I am really embarrassed to ask... I had a really bad cold/cough about 3/4 weeks ago. I suddenly noticed after one of my coughing spells my butt hurt. Now if I cough or sneeze I feel a sharp pain. I am not sure if it is a hemorrhoid or not. I have tried pushing on it and I feel a shooting pain in my back and down my leg. What do you think?

Hi thanks for asking question.

Mostly you have piles.Do your proctoscopic examination. It might show piles or anal inflammation..

For that take stool softener.
Warm water anal sitz bath taken..
Drink more water.
Avoid excess spicy food...
Avoid straining at stool...

If piles not present then physical examination done for palpating hernia. It might be obstructed hernia that can cause sharp pain...USG helpful...

I hope your concern Solved ...

Take care...
