Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If your problem is due to calcification around hip joint then instead of going straight to hip replacement you may ask for endoscopic release of calcification or debridement at / near hip joint. You may discuss this from your doctor. He is the best judge for this.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mukesh Tiwari, Orthopedic Surgeon
