What Causes Changes In Bowel Movements While On Doxycycline?

My bowel movement has changed, instead of one solid piece, it is many small pieces stuck together. This has been going on for 3 weeks. It started when I developed flu like symptoms. I was prescribed Doxycycline 100mg 2 a day for 10 days, finished 2 weeks ago.

As per my clinical experience, the changes in bowel movements indicate side effect of Doxycycline involving gut flora disturbances.

Addition of probiotic with lacto bacillus and fresh curd will cure the issue.
