What Causes Changing Blood Pressure Readings?

I see my pcp every four months, never had a concern with my blood pressure, this afternoon happen to take my blood pressure at another doctor office, it went from 148, 158, 168, three different readings? Could the blood pressure device be out of order? The device, you wrap around your wrist and hold it up against your heart. I didn t feel sick. Should I make an apt with my pcp?

Hi,

It's okay to have different BP readings at different times. But all your three readings are on the higher side. You may ask for a device change and check it again.
