What Causes Chest And Back Pain?

My sister did some lifting the other day and a day later started experiencing upper back pain which is radiating to the front chest. I am concerned about heart attack . She says it is worse when she is prone. What other symptoms could be reflective of a heart attack or muscle strain? Thanks...

By your history it seems most probably muscle pain. Bu for surity just get done ECG to rule out cardiac cause. Take proper rest and avoid bad postures. Avoid heavy weight lifting. Take good pain killers and muscle relaxant. Any by this you are still having pain than consult orthopedic surgeon. Heart attack is usually seen in old age with pre existing heart problems with perspiration snd palpitation. So no need to worry much about heart attack.
