What Causes Ear Ache, dizziness And Loss Of Balance?
I have chest pain, dizziness and ear pain - have been checked out and treated for a lot of things (cardiac cath, chest CT, stress test, nerve damage, GERD, muscle strain) and nothing has helped, and no definitive cause has been found. I am 32, female, with a long history of Type 1 diabetes. What could this be? Newest symptom is balance loss which started yesterday.
The causes of your symptoms of ear ache, chest pain are not found in spite of the investigations for cardiac cath, stress test, nerve damage, GERD and muscle strain. The possible causes for your symptoms including that of loss of balance since one day can be due to the following reasons which needs thorough clinical evaluation, examination and investigations. I would advise you to consult an ENT Surgeon for proper clinical evaluation and get you investigated such as MRI with CT scan that is called a combo-study of mastoids for ear structures, Audiometry and ENT Endoscopy. All these will give a proper cause and thus allow a specific treatment for your disease.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
