What Causes Chest And Stomach Discomfort And Spitting Blood?

I had chest and stomach discomfort past Saturday lasted long so I went to the emergency room. After doing bp, blood, ECG and chest x-ray, the doctor said that was the cause of gastric and referred Pepto. I, however is not feeling well and I sometimes spit blood too; mostly during the night. Please advice me what to do.

Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Since your chest x ray is normal, no need to worry for Pulmonary causes.
Gastric ulcers and severe gastritis can also cause blood stained vomiting.
You are also having stomach problem, so possibility of Gastric pathology is more.
So better to consult gastroenterologist and get done upper GI scopy to rule out gastritis or Gastric ulcer.
This will also useful in endoscopic treatment of Gastric pathology.
So first consult gastroenterologist and diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
