What Causes Chest Pain, Dizziness, Nausea And Lightheadedness?

My wife has had slight chest pains in the past and she says at times she cannot take a deep breathe. This morning she went walking and tried to jog for a little bit. When she tried to jog, she felt like she could not take a deep breathe, so she stopped jogging. After her walk this morning, she went to her Hot 105 degree Yoga Class and felt very dizzy and light headed. Plus she was a little nausea. Any ideas what could be causing these symptoms? And should my wife see a doctor?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the medical history you provided the short answer is YES. Your wife needs to see a doctor. She needs to see a cardiologist if possible if not the ER. He will run EKG, stress induced EKG, blood tests too. I recommend that she visits a doctor as soon as possible too.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
