What Causes Chest Pain, flatulence And Burping?

I was tolded I have a right bundle block. My heart checked out okay. Although, I am still very sick. Have a constant ache on the left side of the chest, with a strong pinching feeling once in a while and extreme amount of gas and burbing. This right bundle block came on suddenly, within two months. Is there some kind of infection that is causing my symptoms and could it have caused this block?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Chest pain, flatulence may be due to acute gastritis or GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease) or peptic ulcer disease or food Intolerance or Irritable Bowel syndrome etcetera.

Avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking and caffeine drinks. Take tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Confirm that the pain is not originating from the heart, you can do it by ECG, x-ray, and echo.

If symptoms not improved, then please consult your doctor so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
