Sometimes it feels like I need to burp a big burp. Like it s alot of air in my stomach. But it won t come out. It causes me to have stomach pains and pain in my chest. I had my gall bladder taken out 2 years ago but this is still happening. Sometimes when I do burp I have some acid that comes up but not every time.

Hello,

Gall bladder only stores the bile that is produced in the liver. Its main function is to digest fats. I suggest you to avoid food rich in fats. This will help you some how in managing your digestion problems. If this is not of any help then i suggest you to visit your doctor to get a proper prescription for this problem.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sameen Bin Naeem, General & Family Physician
