What Causes Chills Followed By Seizures?

I have seizures when I get chilled. They are so severe that I lose the ability to talk, move and have even affected my breathing. I have degenerative bone disease, fibromyalgia, and diet controlled type II diabetes. Is there a problem I may be overlooking?

Hello,

Partial and generalized seizures often affect autonomic function during seizures as well as during the interictal and postictal periods. Activation or inhibition of areas in the central autonomic network can cause cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, cutaneous, pupillary, urinary, and genital manifestations. Cold shivering and piloerection saw in seizures originating from the left temporal lobe. Autonomic activity leads to sweating and cool periphery lead to chills.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
