What Causes Chronic Abdominal Pain Along With Diarrhea?

Hello, I just went to the emergency room yesterday for severe abdominal pain & diarrhea. The pain was so severe, I had to have relief. I was previously told that they believe I have an ulcer (I never got an endoscopy done to verify). The hospital gave me an IV and some pain medicine and the pain subsided. Today, I am in pain again. The hospital did blood work and said everything came back normal.

Hello dear. I think I understand your problem. It seems you have a viral intestinal infection. You have to keep hydrated and it will go by itself. You should have done a slool culture to look for ocult blood. Best regards.
