Hi, I have been missing my period for the first time in my life. I am not sexually active either. My acne breakouts have increased, the last time I had my period which was normal of (4 days) was about a month and a half ago. I m unsure whether I should wait if I get my period this month but if I don t get it, it would be the 2nd month I am missing it. I experienced small cramps around the time I shouldve gotten it last month as I am experience small cramps this month again. What I did notice was spotting last month though it was brief about a day of it. Should I visit the gyno or just wait. I m unsure on what I should do.
Good morning. Thanks for your query. I were your treating doctor , i would like you to undergo some blood tests ( Hormones level) like FSH(follicle stimulation hormone), LH, PROLACTIN, TESTOSTERONE LEVELS, TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) These are important for regular period cycle. I would also advice to have ultrasound pelvis to look for ovaries and uterus. esp for ovarian cysts. i suggest you to go to gynaecologist to get checkup. I hope this will help you.
