What Causes Chronic Acne On The Face Upon Withdrawal From Yaz?
I am 51 years of age and went off the contraceptive pill Yaz due to having high blood pressure. I have now come out with really bad acne and I know the pill helped me with this as my skin was clear. I do not seem to be going through menopause yet as have regular periods still. I am considering going back on the pill to help with my skin - do you have any other suggestions?

I would explain that oral pills at your age can also increase the risk for breast cancer or pulmonary embolism or stroke.
For this reason, I would not recommend starting oral pills again only for acne.
I would recommend consulting with a dermatologist to help improve your acne situation, with other treatment options.
