Hello,

Your pain of unilateral hip bone pain may be due to avascular necrosis of femur head, femoral neck fractures, groin injury, hip dislocation, hip tendonitis and bursitis, hip osteoarthritis, or sciatica or sciatic nerve compression. Only with a detailed clinical examination and various tests like X-ray hip joint and MRI of hip joint the specific diagnosis can be made and thus appropriate treatment be given.

Please do consult an orthopedic surgeon. Until then, you can have pain medications like NSAIDs ibuprofen for pain relief. To avoid gastric irritation caused by ibuprofen, tab. Pantop once daily before food is recommended.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
