What Causes Chronic Constipation Along With Anal Pressure And Pain?
For 48-60 hours I havent had a bowel movement to speak of. I am experiencing a pressure/pain sensation in the rectum, the urge to have a bowel movement every 30-75 minutes, the feeling of having fecal matter at the anal sphincter which will not come out, no matter how hard I strain, and if i feel my rectum while trying to strain, it feels like 1/2 cm of bowel is exteriorizing, which dissapears once i stop straining. The only matter I have been able to excrete is mucus, sometimes streaked red, and 2 watermellon seed sized fecal masses.

The cause of constipation which could be piles, fissures or dietary causes which should be identified and treated. Maintaining healthy fibre diet and adequate hydration in the following days can avoid constipation.
