What Causes Chronic Constipation Along With Flatulence?

Hello Doctor, i have chronic constipation for last 4-5 years. With this, gas develops regularly and gets discharged too. Sometimes it gets worst like every 5- 10 min foul gas passes and it becomes very difficult to attend office. Many time i am forced to use glycerin suppositories which relaxes a bit but not completely. Doctor advised me Duphalac(30ml) at night as well as Lubowel 24Mg twice after food. However that even didn't helped. What should I do. I continued this medicine for a week. Should I continue with same or some other. Pl help. Thanks & Regards...

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, i do care for your concern.
continue the prescribed medicines,
along with that
1) have plenty of water
2) include more fibre content to your food such as green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits etc..
3) avoid eating food from outside, include natural food in your diet, which will help a lot.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
