Hello,
You are experiencing chronic
dizziness and
lightheadedness. Your treating doctor are detected the cause to be
sinusitis. Sinusitis does cause dizziness and light headedness due to
sinus infection, fluid buildup and blockages in the sinus cavities can cause fluid to build up in the ears. The fluid puts pressure on the inner parts of the ear, the eardrum and the Eustachian tube, which in turn creates feelings of dizziness and vertigo.
Ear infections, nasal polyps, inadequate sleep, low blood pressure,
low blood sugar, poor general health condition, anemia, stress (emotional and physical), side effects of certain medications, etc., can also cause symptoms of lightheadedness and dizziness. You are suggested to get a general health check up done with all required tests and investigations. Get examined by an ENT. You will be treated accordingly. Stay away from anxiety and stress.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
