What Causes Chronic Fatigue While Suffering From High Blood Pressure?
Hello, I m trying to find out why my 87 year old Mother is so tired and weak. She has had numerous blood and urine tests. She has a pacemaker and is on medication for high blood pressure and seizures. Could these meds be causing her this chronic fatigue with weakness? She is tired every day but some days worst than others. Today she has only been out of bed to go to the bathroom and eat a bit.
Hi Thanks for posting your query on HCM. I have read and understood your concern. The exact cause of her symptoms may only be known after physical examination by the Doctor.I will advise you see her Doctor for examination. With a history of heart problems and hypertension, her symptoms may be as a result of poorly controlled BP or an aggravating heart condition.Just see the Doctor for examination. It is less likely that her symptoms are caused by her drugs since she has been on the drugs for long with no issues. In the meantime, some mutivitamins may help boost her up. Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns. Best regards
