What Causes Chronic Pain In Lower Lip?

My bottom lip is hurting. It has happened lots of times during the course of my life but it s getting really annoying. It s like waves on the beach . The pain comes for a second then fades away, and this keeps happening every 1-2 seconds for the whole day.
