What Causes Chronic Pain In My Right Iliac Fossa Region?

I recently underwent a UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolisation) in December of last year. I thought the surgery was a success until roughly three months after the surgery I developed chronic pain in my right iliac fossa region which also disturbed my sleep. I have since found out from a previous scan that I have a right ovarian cyst, would this be causing the pain and what would be the outcome. I am on analgesics until I see my Gynaecologist next.
