Cosmetic & Plastic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Well most probably your symptoms are due to thyroid insufficiency but to make sure that this is the cause I need to get some information from you like after removal of your thyroid did the doctors put you on thyroxine or not?

Your symptoms of weight gain and fatigue all are due to low levels of thyroid. If I would be your treating doctor I would definitely order your thyroid profile. Furthermore, if I would have been in your position I would go and consult the surgeon who removed your thyroid about your symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
