What Causes Chronic Pain In The Lower Ribcage, Neck And Shoulders?
My 43 year old boyfriend went to a Med Express because he thought his ribs was fractured he is in sever pain on the right side xray done and was told there is black spots on his rib cage and was referred to a radiologists apt is in 4 days..but now his pain is in his neck shoulders and back and of course under the lower part of his right rib. Could there be more wrong.

hello dear,,, he may have pain due to gallstones.... was there any history of trauma??? if not rib fracture is unlikely.... if he is having symptoms of heart burn,, dyspepsia,, bloating,,, he might be suffering from gall stones...can get a usg whole abdomen done....and it will be diagnosed...thankyou for referral
