Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 29 year old female. My back has always been what I considered to be weak. I have a curvature in my spine and when I was younger about 8 had a mole removed on my right shoulder and the surgeon severed some nerves so around my menstrual cycle, when I stress and sometime s out of no where I feel chronic pain. As of recent It s been hard to sit up straight and when I bend over my back shutters. It s like a shaking feeling and there is some dull aching pain. Is this something serious or do I need to set up an appointment with a chiropractor?
2. Since you cannot sit up straight due to pain you are suggested to get physically examined & get blood tests, nerve conduction tests, Imaging tests (X-ray, CT, MRI) done to detect any developing pathology that is causing discomfort.
3. Maintain proper posture while walking as well as sitting or sleeping. Avoid lifting weight or doing any heavy work.
4. You can take pain relieving medications, NSAIDS (Ibuprofen), but if you do not get relieve, you may need medical intervention & have to go for spinal cod stimulation or take nerve block injections.
Avoid stress & stay away from sedentary lifestyle, get active & eat healthy. Avoid addictions if any. You can take the help of a physiotherapist for stretch exercises & posture improvement methods.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Nupur K,
