What Causes Chronic Stomach Ache During Bowel Movements?
Yes, thank you, For the last 6 weeks I ve had a chronic ache in my stomach, most commonly when I am on the toilet pushing. The ache doesn t go away, it just eases up. My colonoscopy and EGD last year were negative. My younger brother was dx with colon CA in 2013, he waited until the pain was so bad before he saw a physician, now it has spread. Sister with Breast CA in 2005, now cancer free. I had TAH, BSO in 2003. Cholecystectomy in 2011.

family history is strongly suggestive of CA but chronic pain may be due to other reasons also, one common cause is excessive use of purgatives or antacids In ayurveda it is named as Gulma
