What Causes Chronic Vomiting And Fever?

Yes, I have a 19 year old son that has had some stomach issues. A doctor in the past has thought that he had a short bout with stomach ulcer. He has been fine for the past couple of months but now he suddenly got sick with projectile vomiting. He is complaining that his joints feel like they are all on fire and he now has a fever.

fever is a great sign of infection and bacterial infection causes these symptoms of vomiting with fever ..if vomiting since along time before infection it suggest that he has reflux acid that causes vomiting then infection make it worse..for confirmation of diagnosis you should do stool culture for him and widal test ,urine culture as investigation and you can send it to us..now he may need antibiotic injection as cefotriaxone 1gm and tylenol as antipyretic and omeprazole for reflux ..and do investigation preferrly
