What Causes Clear Liquid Filled Blisters On The Foot?

I have these clear liquid filled blisters on my right foot. A year ago to almost the exact date I had some on my left foot. They have filtered hem and show nothing. I m to have my knees replaced in 2 weeks and I m afraid if I still have them I won t be able to have the replacement surgery.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have clear liquid filled blisters on the foot . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like keratosis pilaris , folliculitis , eczema , hives , bug bites and skin infection . But in your case the symptoms are probably due to dyshidrotic eczema .I would suggest you to clean the skin of foot with warm water and mils soap and betadine , keep it dry and take anti histamine like benadryl . If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , skin test , allergy test and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe clindamycin , anti inflammatory , anti allergic and cortiosteroid ointment . Doctor may also prescribe coal tar preparations, such as Denorex and T Gel .
