What Causes Cold, Pain And Blisters In Uvula And Upper Back Pain?
I started feeling cold like symptoms earlier in the week. Now my Uvula is extremely painful and has white blisters on it. When I cough it feels like I'm being stabbed with pins and needles in my chest and across my upper back and neck area. Any ideas?
I can understand your concern. It seems that you have developed a bacterial infection in the upper respiratory tract. You might be having some fever due to the infection which is causing the other fever-like symptoms.
I suggest that you should start a course of antibiotics. Cefixime 200 mg (Topcef) twice a day for 5 days will help in elimination of infection. In addition, you can take Acetaminophen 500 mg or Ibuprofen 400 mg thrice a day to have relief in pain. I also suggest use of OTC available decongestants and steam inhalation for relief in congestion. Warm salt water gargles will help, too.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.
