What Causes Constant Chest Pain Leading To Burping?

I have had constant chest pain throughout the day for weeks now. Some stabbing pains from time to time but mostly chest pressure/tightness that leads to burping. I have no heartburn but i have tried taking prilosec to relieve the pain but it hasnt worked. i notice when i press down on my stomach i feel gas go up through my chest and lead to a burp. I tried taking some simethicone and there is less burping but the pain and burping still occur. I will appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
dear friend

you need to undergo an upper GI endoscopy to rule out hiatus hernia and many other issues which can cause these symptoms.

in the interim you can try combination of rabeprazole and levosulpiride capsules
and syp which contains sucralfate it would relieve your symptoms to some extent but not fully.
please visit a gastroenterologist and take his advice
