What Causes Constant High Fever?
Husband is 41 and weights about 220 and no medical history. He went to doctor on Monday and was sent to ER. Got shot of steroids that broke fever and sent home with Hydrocodone. Went back to doc Friday still sick and running a fever. Fever has been 100.5 to 103.4. Given Zpack and is still sick. Told to come back if not better. What could this be I think he should be in hospital. going to doctor tomorrow.....

I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that if your husband is having fever then this need to be investigated steroid some time flair up the condition, till you get done the test he can be given Tab Acetaminophen 500 mg three times in day, have a nice day.
