What Causes Constant Hot Flashes, Mood Swings And Sleeplessness?

i seem to be experiencing hot flashes all through day and night which is contrary to what I read that it happens on and off. Why is this so? I menstruate regularly with my cycle varying from a 24 to 30 day period. I am 51 years of age. I have no other issues except that I have terrible mood swings and sleeplessness at times.

As your nearing menopause, such symptoms viz. hot flashes, disturbed sleep, anxiousness are common. These are due to decrease in the level of female sex hormones after menopause. I suggest you to consult gynecologist if you cant tolerate and you can be benefited by hormone replacement therapy.
