What Causes Constant Nasal Bleeding And Swelling In Eyes Post Trauma?
My son was in car accident early yesterday morning, no seat belt truck went end over end two times and landed upside down. X-ray showed no obvious fracture. Nose is crooked and rt side has had a continuos dripping of bright red blood. Very swollen causing causing eyes to be bruised now. Is this just gonna take time or does he need to be seen again.

Understanding your concern .As per your query you have constant nasal bleeding and swelling in eyes post trauma . Swelling in eye and nasal bleeding can occur due to causes like Traumatic injury, vigorous sniffing, nose picking habit causing trauma to small blood vessels, nasal irritation due to repeated cold and sinus infection, while other medical conditions like high blood pressure and blood thinning medicines can also cause nasal bleeding. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and rule out above causes . Doctor may order balancing test , rotatory chain test , hearing test , posturography and CT scan . Doctor may prescribe anti emetic drug , sedatives and alter the dose of BP medicines or prescribe some substitute . For now avoid bending forward and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for headache . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist in case of cardiac problem . Also apply ice and pressure to nose while bleeding .
